Life as I know it

Haven’t been on tumblr in a while don’t really know why. But there is no time better then the present to get started again I guess (new iPad is definitely motivation).
I don’t know if I’m looking for philosophical or funny here so I’ll try both. For the philosophical part, quite frankly woman are weird. You hear so many different things from different people. I’m not a ladies man but I thought I had clue, guess not.
If that wasn’t the funny part then I guess I’ll tell a little story from my life. There are always moments when you’re too confident, I’m a prime example. Back to the story two friends decided there was a big event coming up and they needed some “equipment”. So the first establishment they enter only has fourteen packs, confident but not cocky. Next they go to old reliable 7 11. So as normal at 7 11 an old Indian guy is working when they go to the counter for “equipment”. The first man goes up small guy maybe 160 tops. He ask the Indian man for the large “equipment”. So after a good amount of jokes about how he shouldn’t need the big ones the next guy comes up. No compared to the last man he is big at least six foot 250. He’s going to the same event and thinks it warrants having “equipment”. He goes up to the same Indian man and as he’s still laughing and asks for the regular size. As the old Indian man laughs at the remark the man leaves the store head hung low because he truly wanted them. Not that either would need “equipment”.
Anyhow I know it was a long one but haven’t been active in a while so I had to indulge. My words of wisdom not that wise and my funny stores not that funny as always stay classy

     A truer statement may have never been spoken. I’m not talking about a broad either, i know some of your minds went there. I’m talking about a true friend. It’s amazing how you can take such a good friend for granted. When I say gone I don’t even mean permanently gone. One of my best friends is now been in the Marines for, damn it has to be over a year now. He’s not gone to be totally honest he’s not even in grave danger at the moment. it’s just the fact that i can’t call him or text him on that Wednesday night just to bullshit or to see what he is up to. God willing he will never be in great danger, I just feel wrong that it takes a revelation like this to realize this obvious of a fault. To being the friend and brother I always wanted to be! I miss ya bud truly do.

This excerpt from the famous Gettysburg address just seems so appropriate for the day especially at ground zero

Why is it that women can come between to seemingly close friends? What kind of power do they have? Sometimes when two friends both like a women it can come between them. It’s pretty obvious to see how that could get hairy. What amazes me even more is when a woman has control over a man so much that this causes strains between relationships. Common term or slang term for this would be “whipped.” While I am in no way claiming to be a relationship expert but this should not happen, but its amazing that it can.
